The Relationships between parental bonding and self Assertiveness with Behavior At Risk among Students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz

Individual and social variety factors effect on risky behaviors that could note the domestic factors such as parenting style and individual features such as the ability to say no to youth and teens. The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between parental Bonding and self assertiveness with behavior at risk in students of shahid chamran university of ahvaz. The statistical population of this study consisted of all the students of shahid chamran university of ahvaz. Whthin the academic years of 2012-2013. The participants of this study included 244 students (122 female, 122 male) who were selected using a multiple randomly selected method. To testing studied variant, we use self assertiveness questionnaires for adolescents Dong u Lee-Lee & Kandler parental bondings questionnaire and at risk behaviours questionnaire. Correlation and regression analyses were used to analyze the collected data. Data analysis showed the there is a negative significant relationship of parental bonding and self assertiveness with students behavior at risk (p>0/001). In addition, regression analyses showed that there is a (parental bonding – self assertiveness) appropriate predictors of students behavior at risk. The results of the study was discussed in the article.
