[English]

In recent decades, various studies have investigated the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy approach on improving various variables such as depression, infidelity, conflict, boredom, dissatisfaction and resilience of couples. Many of these studies have reported significant changes compared to the control group, but their exact impact is unclear and requires the integration of these studies. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy on reducing marital problems. This study uses meta-analysis method to integrate the results of different researches to determine the effect of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy. 16 researches that were methodologically feasible were selected and meta-analysis was performed on them. Data search sources were internal scientific databases. It was the University Jihad Scientific Database (SID), Noor Magazines (Noormags), Iran Magiran Database, the Comprehensive Humanities Portal (ensani.ir) and the Islamic World Citation Database (ISC). Data analysis was performed using SPSS16 software and the effect size was calculated using CMA2 software and g index. The findings of this meta-analysis showed that the magnitude of the effect of cognitive-behavioral couple therapy on reducing couples' problems for the couple intervention method is 1.57, the magnitude of the effect of individual intervention is 1.23 and the magnitude of the overall effect is 1.37mated. It seems that the cognitive-behavioral couple therapy approach is effective in reducing marital problems and can be used in counseling centers. The estimated estimates of the effect size in each study can be real and beyond the coincidence, which means that there is a significant difference in the size of the effects observed in the studies reviewed in this meta-analysis.
